Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Test Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of sophisticated automation frameworks. This role is essential for advancing our automated testing objectives and ensuring high-quality software delivery through continuous integration and comprehensive regression testing.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Development: Build and maintain reusable automated test frameworks utilizing Java, .NET, and Silk Test to facilitate continuous integration workflows.
Quality Strategy: Author comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and test cases to ensure robust coverage across diverse products, systems, and platforms.
Performance & System Testing: Execute performance testing and system validation using industry-standard tools including HP Quality Center, JMeter, and HP LoadRunner.
API Validation: Specialized testing of APIs and API-driven applications using Parasoft SOAtest and SoapUI to ensure seamless backend connectivity.
Database Verification: Conduct thorough database testing for applications hosted on Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2 environments.
Project Oversight: Ensure all testing protocols meet internal quality benchmarks before product deployment.
Work Environment & Requirements
Location: Primary office located in Weddington, NC, with the possibility of working at various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.
Travel: Applicants must be flexible and willing to travel or relocate as needed for project requirements.
