Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to design and develop complex applications and integration products. This role focuses on bridging the gap between core backend engineering and modern Big Data analytics.
Key Responsibilities

Application Development: Build and maintain products using Java/J2EE, Oracle, UNIX, C, C++, and Shell Scripting.

Big Data Engineering: Develop applications within the Hadoop Eco System (including MirthConnect) to ingest and analyze structured and unstructured data for predictive and descriptive insights.

Web Interface Design: Create and support web-based interfaces using J2EE, XML, JSP, Servlets, Struts, JDBC, and various Web Servers.

Database Programming: Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, and triggers using PL/SQL for data population and system optimization.

Technical Liaison: Interface between business and technical users to perform gap analysis and finalize design documentation.

Quality Assurance: Lead technical reviews of project deliverables and manage defect tracking via Quality Center and Test Director.
Work Environment & Requirements

Location: Based in Weddington, NC, with potential assignments at unanticipated client sites across the U.S.

Travel: Candidates must be willing to travel and/or relocate as required.
